Urban Impact Celebrates Kingdom Wins at
Kids Across America

We set out on July 12th for a long trip to Southern Missouri with 14 young people ranging from 9 to 16 years old as well as 4 of our staff members. We stopped for dinner at Lambert’s Cafe and stayed in a hotel that evening and had a late evening outdoor swim. The next morning we had one more pre-camp meal at Whataburger and drove from Springfield, Missouri to Golden Missouri to check in for camp.

Kids were able to experience camp with high energy college students and other kids from many different states. Kids went, tubing, zip lined, played soccer, worshiped together, opened their bibles and experienced a reenactment of the trial, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
All 14 of our students had emotional responses to the reenactment but 8 of the 14 students “rang the bell”. This signified that students were either making a first time profession of faith or a recommitment. We are incredibly proud of all of our young people. We are forever grateful to those that helped make this trip happen and proud of those young people for making one of the most critical decisions of their lives.
